It all started one fine Christmas day when I was 12 years old.
My parents bought me a black, antique, singer sewing machine...you know the one.
And the rest ...as they
say... ..... is history.
Even as a young girl, I knew I had to do something creative with my life. Mind you I hated sewing when I was in high school. I think it was too structured and at that point, not very creative. I didn't know that I could be creative with sewing. I fell in love with sequins and all things sparkley!
Approximately ten years ago, I met a woman who changed my life. Mel was her name, and she was an exotic dancer. I have been making costumes ever since.
I have made wedding gowns, theatre costumes, Halloween costumes, SCA costumes, costumes for wrestlers and even costumes for a singing group.
Costumes are my life, and my second love. The first love would be my family.
I can't think of a better way to live life, than creating things to make other people's lives a little more interesting.
